Project Amparo de Niños Juan XXIII

My name is Sharah Gallego and I am currently leading a project to support Colombian orphans in their learning and education by providing school supplies to kids in the Amparo de ninos Juan XXXIII orphanage located in Armenia, Colombia.

I want to do this because being from Colombia I’ve seen how people don’t have the opportunities that we have in Canada. My goal is to create  individual packages for each student.


One package will contain the following supplies: 

1 Backpack
3 Pens (Red, Blue & Black)
10 Pencils
1 Sharpener
2 erasers
4 Small glue stick or 2 big
1 Pencil case
1 Ruler
24 Colored pencils
10 Notebook

This money will allow me to buy the remaining supplies to complete every package and if possible pay for the shipping costs to send the supplies directly to the orphanage.

Any help would allow me to be one step closer to making a difference.
