Hi , we the vavaboom team are hoping me can raise enough money to go mobile , and when I say mobile I literally mean mobile !!
So here's the plan , we are trying to.buy a motor home/ van and install our salon inside,
That means our salon comes to you instead of you coming to us !!!
There are a few reasons for us wanting to take our skills to the road as we will be able to take our salon to more vulnerable , elderly and not so mobile clients,
We are also wanting to help the homeless and plan to park up twice a year and give homeless people.in Edinburgh the opportunity to get free haircuts !!
Of course this mobile salon will still carry all the rules which apply during this pandemic of covid19 , and also all the standards of insurance etc
As many of you know the salon has been through a tough year , one of our staff members was diagnosed with breast cancer and luckily she won the fight, a week later we had to close due to the covid 19 lockdown which we survived and managed to open our doors back up , although we are not out the woods unfortunately we are now facing a massive rent increase and the building which we rent is falling apart at the seams , which makes us more determined to get this venture on the road as we are not ready to hang up our scissors at the moment
So I am asking any donations big or small will be appreciated for us to get our new venture up and running
