Make Today Beautiful Care Packages

Hi, my name is Pingru and I am 12 years old. I am starting a fundraiser called, ”Make Today Beautiful,” to make care packages for cancer patients and help kids at Lurie’s Children Hospital. I wanted to start this fundraiser to spread joy and happiness to cancer patients and kids in the hospital. Cancer patients and kids  in the hospital can feel lonely, scared, and sad. These care packages will cheer them up and lift up their spirits. My care packages will include hand lotion, colorful nail strips, inspiration note, and a homemade bracelet.   When interviewing a cancer survivor, I learned that chemotherapy dried their hands and caused nail rings.  Colorful nail strips could help make their nails stronger and cover up the nail rings.  Kids at the hospital inpatient psychiatric program will be rewarded for working hard on their treatment goals by doing their nails.  
 
I created this GoFundMe to help raise $500 for these Make Today Beautiful care packages for cancer patients and to help motivate kids in the hospital. I can’t do it without your support. Please lend a helping hand by sharing this with others and together we can add color to people's lives.  I hope to deliver these packages in the new year, so please donate any amount by January 15th, 2021.
