Hello. I am the eldest son, Dan of Roger ( Butch ) Pforr. On May 23rd, a lightning strike

started my father's home on fire. Fortunately, Dad is ok, and the local fire departments were able to contain the fire to the upstairs and prevented a total loss of the home. However, significant damage from smoke, water and a power surge occurred throughout the house, resulting in the loss of personal items, furniture, carpet, and ceilings & walls. As a family, we are looking at rebuilding Roger's home and replacing carpet & and furniture, as well as restocking personal items to make Dad’s home livable again. These will all be out-of-pocket expenses due to a lack of home insurance. We are very thankful for the many volunteer hours that have already been spent removing debris & and cleaning in preparation for

the rebuild.
