<div>We are raising money for Nikki's cremation cost and celebration of life.  Cremation cannot take place until we have provided the funeral home with $1000 up front.  This figure doesn't include any other expenses, but until we reach it, we can't move forward with the necessary formalities. Please help us toward honoring her wishes.  Nikki had several spooktastic requests for how things are to go down at her celebration.  She requested a Halloween party at the Park of Roses with some specific details laid out for us.  And trust me, you'll want to see these happen as Nikki's signature humor and spirit shines through!

<div>Nikki has been a pillar for our community and our chosen family. Nikki is a former foster youth and has passionately been a statewide and nationwide advocate for youth in and from care since 2013. Her incredible advocacy work for current and former foster youth has directly saved hundreds of lives including shutting down an abusive residential facility for youth and establishing Ohio's first foster youth ombudsman. Nikki is one of the founding members of Alumni of Care Together Improving Outcomes Now (ACTION) Ohio, the statewide advocacy organization made up of former foster youth, and serves as the Residential Liaison. Nikki has also served on the board of My Very Own Blanket. Nikki is also a mental health and eating disorder advocate.

<div>Please help us with meeting our fundraising goals as soon as possible, as it will allow us to move forward in honoring Nikki's final wishes and taking care of what is necessary.  The community funding received before her passing allowed her to complete over half her bucket list!  Her last months were rich with love and meaningful experiences.  We extend sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this happen, we all love her so much.  This amazing and irreplaceable young woman  spent her short life fighting for and supporting others--thank you for helping us fight to support her last wishes.
