Make Music for Everyone

Urbana High School in Urbana, Illinois provides an amazing opportunity for kids of all backgrounds to make incredible music and have incredible opportunities!  We strive to make sure that every child is able to participate regardless of economic status.  Our program includes a Symphonic Band, a Wind Symphony, a Jazz Band and a Marching Band.  Each group has grown over the years and our Marching Band won grand champion in a competition this season!  Our directors work hard to foster a family community which contributes to our success. 
         It is very expensive to keep this program running.  Instruments, music, uniforms, maintenance are the fundamentals but there are also contests, concerts and trips.  With more than half our students qualifying  for free and reduced lunch, we need your help in supporting this amazing program!  
    This year we would like to take over 100 students to New York City to perform, attend a music clinic, and to hear and see live performances on stage.   Thank you for helping to make this happen.
