Dear family and friends,
I have had 5 visits to Zambia and have helped in a voluntary position. One of my interests was helping a woman called Lainah Pirri in feeding over 400 children and widows each month. The organisation called Oasis is sponsored by Tasmanians . It also helps to sponsor children in their education.
Unfortunately Lainah is very ill and needs to have a gall stone removed. She is very humble and indebted to us for our help. However without her amazing input this project could easily fold.
I have developed a friendship with this strong lady but it breaks my heart to know she is in such pain trying to help her own people.
She needs an operation very soon
The money raised will go directly into the Oasis Account.
