Make a Hit Movie With WND!

Two years ago, WND CEO Joseph Farah decided the time was right for WND to make its first major motion picture. From published works by WND Books, Farah handpicked the epic true story of Anita Dittman to develop into a screenplay.

Farah knows the Hollywood business. Early in his news career in the 1980's, Farah's 'beat' was to cover studios, producers, writers, agents, and stars. With growing alarm, the culture war Farah covered in the 1980's had become even more intensely critical today.

That's why we need your involvement. Help us 'reclaim culture' by bringing Anita's powerful story from script to screen:

Anita was a Jewish teenager in Germany, abandoned by her Aryan father and raised alone by her Jewish mother. Anita becomes a Christian during the Holocaust through the ministry of Pastor Ernst Hornig. With God's grace and providence, Anita escapes twice from Nazi prison camps as she boldly fights to reunite with her mother sent far away at a death camp.

Why is this important?  Why is this the best movie to make at this moment in time?

Simply this: If we forget our history, ignore our mistakes... we will suffer greatly by repeating them.

All the critical issues Anita faced in the 1930's and 40's are coming back:

1. Fake News being perpetrated like Nazi propaganda, undermining our freedoms.
2. Persecution, not just of the Jews, but now of Christians as well.
3. Security. People are trading away their liberty for a false sense of security, as Germans did, giving rise to Hitler.
4. Faith in God is being tossed aside as irrelevant or used as a weapon to silence us.

We've spent considerable expense over two years of story development to make sure we've crafted the best story possible: researching, interviewing, storyboarding, screenwriting, and most recently, validating our screenplay.

Leading this effort are two of the best faith-and-family, award-winning filmmakers in the business, George Escobar and Ken Carpenter:

Escobar, Vice President of WND Films, has produced and directed nearly a dozen documentaries for WND Films, including "Isaiah 9:10 Judgment," which was Amazon's No. 1 faith DVD for 75 weeks. Escobar is best known for directing several feature films including "Alone Yet Not Alone," nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song.

Carpenter's career as director/producer has spanned feature films, television, commercials, documentaries, music videos, and more. He recently produced “Run the Race”, starring Mykelti Williamson (“Fences”) that will be released in Spring 2018. He also produced and directed “Sweet Sweet Summertime”, released by Echolight Studio and PureFlix.com in 2017.

The next stage for this project is acquiring funds for production. The reason for GoFundMe.

We must bring Anita's story to A-list actors, top distributors, marketing executives, and technicians in order to create a powerful package for investors. This film investor package will cost about $120,000.

Your donation will pay for legal expenses, business operations, marketing plans and materials (promo reels, websites, posters, and press kits) as well as pre-production budgeting, scheduling, and location scouting.

Investors want this packaging work done before they'll invest the millions it will take to make the movie. They want to know we've done our homework. That we're committed to quality, and that others believe in this project. That includes you.

Do you want the assurance that you're doing your part in reclaiming our culture?

That your donation is providing wholesome, edifying, and uplifting entertainment that will speak to generations for years to come?

That you're making a difference for history?

Be that person.

The math is simple. If 2% of our WND audience of 6-8 million monthly visitors each donates $10 (that's less than two cappuccinos, or lattes, or mochas from Starbucks), we'll reach our film investor package goal of $120,000. If 10-15% of our audience donate, we can bypass the investors altogether, and make the movie immediately. Wouldn't that be something?
