Make a difference! Help save animals in need!

I'm getting ready for another crack at the ABC 50 mile trail race, (12/3/22)! Last year, we raised $300 for nonprofit Charity Running 4 Rescues and took home 2nd overall. That was my first ever 50 mile race and while I'm happy with the performance, I'm looking to up the ante this year. This year, I'm looking to break the course record and raise $1,000 for Running for Rescues. To date, we have raised $750 and the long term goal is $10,000.

Running for Rescues, (R4R), inspires me because their dedication to helping any animal in need across the U.S. for the past decade plus.

This can be seen in R4R many varieties of contributions such as the van they donated to Tuba City Humane Society in Flagstaff, Arizona. Tuba City uses this van as a shuttle for their animals to and from vet appointments, to meet with adopters, pick up donations, etc.

R4R recently sent donation money to save Lobo, a dog in Dallas, Texas at Dallas Dogs Run from imminent euthenization. Now he has a second chance at life and to find his forever family!

R4R recently helped a local wildlife rehabber buy some kibble for a recent influx of baby raccoons in Connecticut.

Chilli, R4R sponsored dog from Buffalo Cares in New York, was spayed, microchipped, and had a mass removed from her stomach. She was then reunited with her puppies!

Baby Girl and Ruby's owner lost their home in Connecticut, R4R stepped in and paid for some dental work that the cats needed so that they could be put up for adoption.

R4R also sells awesome merchandise and clothes on their website and are putting on their very own 5k race in CT, Muligans and Mutts 5k, (11/5/2022). 100% of their proceeds go to help animals in need. While they do a ton, they can't do it all alone. That is where we come in!
