<div>Hello, I am Majdi Qraqai a freelance jounalist, 41 years old, from Gaza city ‘AL-SHIJAEYA’.
</div>
<div>As war continues, I am trying hard to go out to show the world the truth about what’s going on in Gaza, even though its dangerous but that’s the promise I took when I decided to be a journalist.

<div>I used to live in a house with my wife and my kids, one of my kids suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorders, he is currently 12 years old, it took me so much time and energy before the war to treat him and make him better, until this war came and destroyed everything. It destroyed the progress I have done to my kid, destroyed our house, our memories, documents, photos.

<div>It took me years to build this house, every year a step closer to get it done, because I was doing this all while raising and teaching my kids.
</div>
<div>Then this recent war came and destroyed everything I built with great effort.
</div>
<div>Currently I have been evacuated to central Gaza as where my house is considered as a dangerous zone, but there is no safe place in Gaza, I am trying to keep my kids safe, warm, good, but nothing seemed to work.
</div>
<div>As my kid needs a special treatment I can’t be in  a tent, but also there is no safety at all in Gaza Strip.
</div>
<div>I am making this campaign to help me surviving this war, meanwhile renting a space for my family, later on hopefully I will be able to rebuild our house.
</div>
<div>Our house was not just a house, but a residential building for the family containing four floors. Each floor accommodated more than 10 people. Each floor was filled with warmth and love.
</div>

<div>These days are filled with pain and sorrow. We are seeking safety from the constant bombings and the attacks in sheds. Our living conditions are a living nightmare. As well it is a bad time of the year to live on the streets: the nights are cold and the streets are muddy. We are suffering from the lack of food, water and medicines for me and my wife, everything we badly need to survive.

<div>But I still did not give up, I want to rebuild a new house with your support and your solidarity. I launched this campaign to regain hope for myself, my wife and my kids. <div>كنت أعيش في منزل مع زوجتي وأطفالي، أحدهم يعاني من مرض التوحد، ويبلغ عمره حاليًا 12 عامًا، وقد استغرق الأمر مني الكثير من الوقت والطاقة قبل الحرب لعلاجه وجعله أفضل، حتى جاءت الحرب ودمرت كل شيء. لقد دمرت هذه الحرب التقدم الذي أحرزته مع طفلي، ودمرت منزلنا، وذكرياتنا، وثائقنا، وصورنا.

<div>لقد تم إجلائي حاليًا إلى وسط غزة لان منزلي يقع في منطقة خطرة، ولكن لا يوجد مكان آمن في غزة، وأنا أحاول أن أبقي أطفالي آمنين ودافئين، ولكن يبدو بانه لايوجد مكان آمن او دافئ في قطاع غزة.

<div>وبما أن طفلي يحتاج إلى معاملة خاصة، فلا أستطيع أن أكون في الخيمة، ولكن أيضًا لا يوجد أمان على الإطلاق في قطاع غزة.

<div>أقوم بهذه الحملة لمساعدتي في النجاة من هذه الحرب، وفي الوقت نفسه استئجار مكان لعائلتي، وآمل في وقت لاحق أن أتمكن من إعادة بناء منزلنا.

<div>لم يكن منزلنا مجرد منزل، بل كان عبارة عن مبنى سكني للعائلة يحتوي على أربعة طوابق. يتسع كل طابق لأكثر من 10 أشخاص. كان كل طابق مليئا بالدفء والمحبة.

<div>هذه الأيام مليئة بالألم والحزن. نحن نبحث عن الأمان من التفجيرات المستمرة. ظروفنا المعيشية هي كابوس حي. كما أنه وقت سيء من السنة للعيش في الشوارع: الليالي باردة والشوارع موحلة. نحن نعاني من نقص الغذاء والماء والأدوية لي ولزوجتي، وكل ما نحتاجه بشدة للبقاء على قيد الحياة.
