<div>I have been participating in club, state and national archery competitions for almost 7 years, shooting more than 30,000 recorded and about the same number of practice arrows.

<div><strong>I am writing to request your support in funding my first overseas competition at the World Archery Youth Championships (Under 18 division) in Limerick, Ireland, from 1-9 July 2023.</strong>

<div>While I have been selected for the Australian Team (<a href="https://archery.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/March-Archery-Australia-Issue-Version-2.1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">See newsletter here</a>), my family is facing a significant financial hurdle, since youth archery is a self-funded sport.

<div>To attend this championship, it would cost AUD 7500. This includes return airfare ($4700 - peak season travel), accommodation, food and transport ($2800).
</div>

</div>
<div>Over the years I have already achieved several significant results, including selections for the NSW state and the National Team, winning National Youth Championships and the Archery NSW Youth Series Recurve Trophy.
</div>
<div>Based on my results so far, I was invited to participate in the National Pathways Squad, which is a significant step towards competing in major events such as the 2028 Los Angeles and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.
