<div>On June 3rd, 2025, the Ban family — Toshiyuki (father), Yayoi (mother), and their two young children, Yuki (8) and Toma (3) — lost their home in a devastating house fire in Winnipeg. The family was not at home at the time of the fire, but when they returned, they found everything gone: their home, their belongings, their children’s toys, and irreplaceable memories. They also lost their minivan in the fire.

<div>In the midst of the devastation, there was one small miracle — their beloved cat, Sakura, was rescued from the burning home by a firefighter. Though shaken, she was safe and back with her family.

<div>Toshiyuki and Yayoi now face the unimaginable challenge of starting over with their two young children and Sakura. Currently, they live in a temporary small residence and do not have space to accept larger-sized materials, so monetary donations are the most practical way to support them at this time.
