Maisha Poa Camp

At Maisha Poa camp, we seek to equip youth with information and skills to help them cultivate leadership qualities and a healthy lifestyle through sessions on self-esteem, conflict-resolution, and sexual reproductive health. As a result of stigma and lack of resources, youth are uninformed about important matters concerning their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Maisha Poa curriculum is designed to give comprehensive information to students so they can be educated from every angle. But information is rarely enough to motivate adolescents to change their behavior. We acknowledge that youth need practical tools to help them make wise decisions. That’s why we teach life skills, not just information. In addition, they are challenged to form goals so they can live a purpose-driven, abundant life in Christ. Not to mention, they have one of the best weeks of their lives!
Join us in our ambitious goal to not only raise money for our Maisha Poa Girls Camp, but our first ever Boys Camp this December! We are hoping to reach our goal for both camps by April 1st. Your donation will help make it possible for us to run camp and provide scholarships for students to be able to afford to come.
