Help Rising Faith maintain and grow our ministry

For over 40 years I have traveled and spread God's word in music and song.  No matter where God called me I would go so His word could be spoken (sung) to those looking and searching to hear.  During those 40 plus years God blessed me with personal employment that allowed me to fund the ministry completely so that I did not (and would not) ask for payment of any kind in return.  It was the least I could do as God blessed me more than I could ever put into words.    My and my wife Teresa's income provided a means for us to purchase and maintain the musical equipment, instruments, vehicles, vehicle maintenance, fuel etc.  All the expenses associated with the ministry.   During the last 40 years I would pray and dream about reaching retirement age and the increased opportunities to serve that time would offer us.

  Now that we, my loving wife Teresa and I,  have reached that time of retirement we want to continue the ministry and try to take it to the next level.  All that is very exciting until reality sets in and we realize that we now have to adjust to a fixed income.  Luckily we did not live extravagant lives and have not entered into retirement with huge debt hanging over our heads, as a matter of fact we are pretty much debt free.  But, the reality is that social security barely covers our normal living expenses and does not provide us with the additional funds to cover the expenses associated with the ministry as it has been for the last 40 years, let alone trying to increase to the next level.  So in an attempt to fund the ministry we took on part time jobs.  All well and good except that the amount you can earn without reducing your social security income does not give us the additional funds we require just to keep the ministry at the level we have enjoyed for the past 40 years.  In addition to the funds,  the time required to work part time takes away from the time we were praying we could devote to the taking the ministry to the next level.

So, through much prayer, discussion, lost sleep, waffling back and forth, additional deep prayer we decided to set up a "Go Fund Me" program to help us maintain the ministry and to hopefully take it to the next level.  By next level I mean traveling the country to where God would call us to take his word in song.  Building and maintaining an "On-Line" ministry that allows our music and witness to reach unlimited people who are searching to hear God's word.  By receiving funds through this Go Fund me program we can devote ourselves "full time" to the ministry.

  I can assure you that any and all funds received will be used for the ministry and only for the ministry.  It will be used to maintain our vehicle and trailer, keep our musical equipment working and/or replaced as required.  The fuel required as we travel.  All ministry related expenses.  As I mentioned our personal expenses are such that we are able to provide with our current social security income, so we are only looking for funding to help us grow the ministry.  We set a very modest goal of $5000.00 dollars, but will leave it in God's hands as to reaching or exceeding that goal.  We consider it a true blessing if you are able to give a single dollar or 50 cents.  The amount (if any) needs to be a decision you make through prayer.  We know that many people are not able to donate and we thank you for just taking the time to read this information.  We are so humbled by how God has allowed us to serve him these past 40 plus years.  We are also honored to continue to serve him in the future - any way, any place, however, he decides for us to serve we will do so, with honor and a glad heart.  We owe all we have, will ever have, will ever do to His Grace and Love.
