Helen's Road to Recovery

The Center for ENT has a very family centered culture.  We pride ourselves on being heavily involved in our community, patients, and creating a cohesive team environment.

As you all may know, one of our family members has been faced with an unexpected health scare.  Helen was admitted into St. Luke's Hospital on February 4th with acute abdominal pain.  After many tests, Helen was diagnosed with pancreatitis and intestinal ulcers.  She was placed on antibiotics to allow her body to heal on its own.

Unfortunately, on February 10th Helen was taken in for another abdominal test, and it was found that her appendix had ruptured.  She was immediately taken into surgery that evening, and Helen remains in the hospital on her road to recovery.

In honor of Helen, we have started a GoFundMe page to assist her with her hospital costs and time she has been out of the office.  As a mother of three children and a wife, Helen and her family have been faced with trying times.  It is our goal to unite Helen's family, friends, co-workers and loved ones to show our support while Helen completes this difficult road to recovery.
