It no longer protects my toddler from the cold nights or my pregnant wife from the harsh weather. We desperately need to secure a new, sturdier tent to give my family a basic sense of dignity and safety.

<div>Every single day is consumed by the exhausting search for the bare necessities. Clean water is incredibly scarce, and securing enough food and drink for the day feels like an impossible task. As a father, there is no deeper pain than looking into your child's eyes when he is hungry or thirsty, knowing how little you can do to fix it.

<div>What weighs most heavily on my heart right now is the imminent arrival of our new baby. My wife is due to give birth very soon under the most tragic conditions imaginable. She needs proper nutrition, a safe, clean space, and basic medical supplies—things that are nearly non-existent here. I want to bring our newborn into a sheltered space, not an open, ruined tent.
