Maggie's Road to Recovery

John and Stacey Dragoo's daughter, Maggie, was critically injured in an accident following the Ball State Football game on October 21st.  She has suffered a traumatic brain injury and was flown to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.  She is doing well, relatively speaking, but as the doctor's continue to assess her conditon, John and Stacey will no doubt be in need of help.  Any of you who know this family, know how truly special they are.  Their awesome faith is an example for all of us.  The number of times that John and Stacey have extended a helping hand is countless.  Maggie, no doubt, has learned from the best.  She is tough as nails, yet as tender as they come.  Her spunky disposition puts a smile on the faces of all who know her.  After a night of unspeakable confusion, fear and pain, Maggie's first thoughts upon regaining some clarity were of her sisters, Josie and Ruthie.  Much to her delight, she was able to see them for a short time and wants nothing more than to go home to them as soon as possible.

In this time of unkowns, the last worry we want this family to have is how to pay for travel expenses to and from hospitals or how to keep food on the table as they struggle to keep life as normal as possible for Josie and Ruthie.   John and Stacey would not ask for anything and will be hard pressed to accept, but we want them to know how loved they are.  If possible, a financial donation would be sincerely appreciated, but most importantly, keep Maggie and her family in your prayers.  Please pray for healing, strength, comfort and peace.
