In October 2017 I (Margaret Schiller) participated in the National Women’s Masters 35’s Hockey Tournament for Queensland. From this competition I was fortunate enough to be selected to play in the Australian Masters 35’s hockey team to compete at the 2018 World Cup in Spain from 21st July – 6th August. It has always been my dream to play for Australia, and now all the hard work and dedication has paid off.
Playing in a high level completion and in another country does come at a cost. With the competition fast approaching I have put this GoFund me page together to help me fulfil my dream of playing for Australia. All funds raised will go to the cost of my flights, completion fees, uniforms and additional travel costs.
Any support you could provide to assist me to play in Spain for the Green and Gold would be greatly appreciated.
