reMIX for Magda

Hey fitfam,
It is with a very heavy and saddened heart as one of our dearest reMIX family members, and one of my closest friends has suffered a great loss in her life.
On Friday morning, October24th, Magda's family were victims to a home invasion. Due to an act of violence, Magda's mother Rose Ragsdale, did not make it. Luckily, the rest of her family members including herself and her 3 year old niece were not physically harmed.
Magda is a very special part of the reMIX family. For those of us who know her, we have all been touched by her in one way or another. Magda suffers greatly from her own medical-related issues however, every day, makes sure that the people around her are taken care of. She spends her earlier part of the day caring for children at work, the middle part of her day with her niece and often volunteering at her local convent, and in the evenings, at remix making everyone laugh and smile. She has always put everyone before her, and has never thought twice about it. Just last evening, we drove around her neighborhood following a lost dog with the hopes to find its owner simply because it was the right thing to do regardless of her current mindset and circumstance.
She is a special woman, a special friend, and an inspiration to HUNDREDS of women.

I have put together a fund to help Magda and her family in this time of need. Their lives have forever changed, and sometimes, we all need a little helping hand.
All funds collected will go directly to her family to help with any funeral expenses, mortgage payments, and anything else they will need help to cover at this time.
ALL 100% of the proceeds from our reMIX STRONG shirts that are purchased at the studio will also be donated to Magda's family.
Donations will be collected through next Saturday via this site and also at the studio. Any checks written can be written directly to MAGDA AUGUSTIN.
*Due to the nature of Rose's passing, investigations are still taking place which will prolong any funeral arrangements. As soon as arrangements are made, an email will go out via our remix mailing list for anyone wishing to pay their respects. reMIX will be closed the evening of the wake and the morning of the funeral.
I would personally like to thank everyone for the love and support during this time. We are not just a gym, we are a family, and this has pained all of our hearts deeply.
