Magan Hall's Melanoma Battle #fightclub

Donación protegida
Magan has been diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma (Cancer) and we are trying to raise money to make sure that she not only gets the treatment she needs but that we are able to pay our bills and provide for our son while she battles this awful disease. Last time she battled cancer we kept it to ourselves and we struggled, she does not want to struggle this time. She needs all the love and support she can get during this tough time.... once we have paid all her bills and she has beaten cancer all remaining funds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. So if the goal is met that doesn't mean we stop donating... anything helps. She starts treatment on July 24th which is around the same time that all of our son's fees are due for school and soccer, so let's get this started friends.
Below is a message from our beautiful, tough, and amazing little babe Magan Hall:

On Monday May 13th I had my routine MRI & CT scans & got the good news I was hoping for. Yay! Everything was still looking good for me on my 4 year cancer anniversary. Well fast forward to a few weeks ago when I found what I assumed was a cyst or calcium deposit on my lower back. I didn’t think much of it obviously but then another week goes by and I found another in my neck (these are little round dark spots under my skin, similar to a bb) so I called my dermatologist and told her. She made me an apt for the next week, Monday June 24. I went in and she cut them out and sent them off. I then received the worst phone call on Wednesday from my dr telling me that my cancer had metastasized and returned. In the 10 days that Ive known, I’ve seen my surgeon, had a PET scan, & saw and talked to my oncologist. They’ve explained to me that my cancer cells have tricked my body and immune system into thinking they are part of my body. They have multiplied and stayed small enough and spread to different parts of my body but have stayed away from my organs to not be detected in scans. I have 6 left in me (we found them by overlapping scans to look for differences) and they want to leave them for now to see how they respond to treatments. Luckily, since the last time i was diagnosed, there have been some amazing new advancements in treatment options. The Dr has explained 3 different types to me and maybe even a new study I could be eligible for. We won’t know which one until we get all of the results back about the full genetic makeup of my cancer so that we know which one or multiples will work best for me. We will also have to “train my immune system” to watch out for my cancers genetic makeup. I will do some lab work on the 23rd and will start whatever treatment they think i should on the 24th...
