This country has made it abundantly clear that it is more willing to punish those who stand against oppression than the perpetrators of that oppression. Hopefully we can find a community/ work environment that uplifts, protects and fights for marginalized peoples instead of paying them lip service by downplaying the severity of the rhetoric of people like CK as solely a "DIFFERENCE OF OPINION". I will not apologize for standing ten toes down and if given the opportunity again, I would make the same choice. As I type this we are one the 6th step of 7 for an authoritarian takeover and I will be complacent or idle on the sidelines of history.
