I'm Mafe, a passionate rugby player and a dedicated PhD student at Monash University. I've been a rugby player since eight years ago, and I've been playing in Melbourne for the last four years. Balancing the demands of my academic journey with my semi-professional athletic career has been a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience.

I'm thrilled to share that I've been selected to represent Victoria in the upcoming national tournament, which will take place on September 20th and October 28th, 2025, in Canberra, ACT. It's a prestigious event that brings together top talent from across the country to compete at the highest level. However, there's a financial hurdle that I need your support to overcome.

Rugby Victoria will cover most of the expenses; however, players have to complement their budget to participate in this tournament, with a cost of $600 AUD. As a student, covering this expense is a challenge at this moment. That's why I'm reaching out to you, our community, for assistance.
