I am starting a fundraiser for Maeqtekuahkihkiw Metaemohsak, Woodland Women. Woodland Women has been near and dear to my heart. It is elder led and guided. We started in 2013, in my home, by gathering around my kitchen table, supporting one another. Throughout the years we have been gathering we were able to provide resources to hundreds of women, men, and their families. We provided space and support to connect and heal for our families. We would like to continue providing this space, support, and resources and hopefully a new building.
