As you may know, Mae’s husband, Bruce, was raised by his aunt in the Philippines. She is dying and Mae and Bruce were planning to go to the Philippines on 1/27 to see her before she died and stay for the funeral.
Unfortunately, this past week, Mae’s house was broken into and their safe was one of the many things stolen in the burglary. This safe contained, among other things, $12,000 in cash that they were going to use for purchasing revenue tickets for the 3 of them and funeral expenses.
I set this up as a vehicle to help Mae and Bruce recover from this untimely theft and still be able to make the trip without going standby and still have funeral expenses.
