<div>We received an urgent call for help: a mother dog was found abandoned on a busy road, trying to protect her five newborn puppies. Alone, starving, and vulnerable, she was tragically hit by a car.

<div>Even though we’re overwhelmed — full shelter, few volunteers, and no funds left — we couldn’t look away. We stepped in.
