Madrid family

Saturday morning the Madrid family
was rear ended while they were stopped behind a car by a truck going full speed and a driver who wasn't paying attention. Everyone was a little banged up but most are ok and recovering with family in Midland. Marcy and Carlos are in Lubbock with Cassidy, one of their twins, who took the brunt of the injuries. She was airlifted to Lubbock and has some bleeding in her brain and a couple fractures on her skull and a spiral fracture in her leg but she is stable and doing better than expected. There's a great team of physicians and nurses taking care of her and so far no surgery is needed. Just a lot of monitoring and lots of prayers as God does his healing work over her body. The doctors say the worst of the swelling could happen in the next 3-4 days but we're believing against that and praying for complete and rapid healing that continues to amaze the teams involved. Prayers to all involved and thank you to all who have reached out to send prayers and offer support. Theyare so blessed with an amazing family, great friends and a phenomenal church family who have all gone above and beyond for them during this journey.
