<div>hi, i’m madison! i recently just lost my grandma to l<strong>ewy body dementia</strong>. even though it’s the second most common form of degenerative dementia (only behind alzheimer’s), because its symptoms can present in a few different ways, it’s often misdiagnosed, which can lead to rapid decline. in the spirit of my grandma, I’ve decided to train to run a half marathon on november 9, 2025 (I literally don’t run) and try to raise money for the lewy body dementia association along the way. i’ll be posting on tiktok for awareness and will give updates here while sharing a bit about my grandma and better educating us both on this terminal illness. there is so much more we can do for those 1.4 million people!
