Madilynn Rose : “I need your help.”
This beautiful girl is Madilynn Rose. She was born on September 23, 2020 to her wonderful parents Chelsey and Levi. She was born just as perfect as could be, but something went horribly wrong. As a complete shock to our whole family, she was diagnosed with SMA Type 1, leaving her mommy and daddy devastated at the thought of their precious girl leaving the world before the age of 2. I believe with all my heart and soul, that she is in Gods hands, and he will give her everything she needs to overcome this and live a long life. But we need your help.
The story from her mommy...“As some of you may know and some don’t, when we went to Madilynns 1st week checkup we were informed one of her test results came back abnormal for sma, so we were sent to Riley Hospital for further testing. As we waited to hear back with her results, today we got the worst news our babygirl tested positive for baby type sma type 1 (Spinal Muscle Atrophy). Most infants with this disease don’t have a long life span, but we know our little girl is a fighter!♥️ It is the most severe type, with a 2.2 million dollar medicine that will be injected 1 time, making trips to Riley every week for labs and steroids an physical therapy. We need all the love and support we can get right now! Please keep our sweet girl in your prayers.”
I know with all my heart we can all come together and give this precious baby the fighting chance at life. This fundraiser is to help mom and dad get to Madilynn’s appointments and to help with medical costs. A lot of work will be missed, the back and forth travel, the uncertainty, the procedures done to their baby girl is enough heartache to endure all by itself, let alone having to juggle finances and travel expenses.
Our goal is hefty, but please, ANYTHING you can contribute will help tremendously, whether it be $1, $5, $100, or even sharing with everyone you know who can help. I as a parent cannot even imagine experiencing this and I would like to think every person who this reaches can find the love in their heart to donate to this precious life.
