Madie Ulrich's Medical Expenses

 My name is Morgan Ulrich, and I am raising money for my sister Madisen Ulrich's medical expenses. She attends Auburn University and was hit by a CSX freight train on 10/4/18 walking to her apartment near the campus. The train hit her at 39 mph and she survived the impact with injuries. She was airlifted to the Hospital of Birmingham Alabama at UAB. Her complications are spine, pelvis, spleen, and wounds so my sister will be having significant medical care and expenses.

Doctors now have confirmed that she will be hospitalized for a long duration and will need physical therapy to walk again. This is going to be a long, hard, and expensive process and any amount would truly help my family.

Madisen Ulrich attends the College of Education at Auburn University. Her dream is to get her Master’s degree in English and to become a High School English teacher. Madisen is a straight A student who will have to take a medical leave from the University. My sister is my best friend and she is now becoming my biggest role model in my life.

For the people who knows her she has the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She has an amazing personality, loves her family and friends, and she has an enormous amount of faith in the lord. She has a very positive outlook and is determined that she will walk again soon.

Please Keep my sister Madisen and my family in your prayers. My biggest goal is to help my sister stay positive so that she can get through this tragedy and be able to walk again. We are truly blessed that she survived getting hit by the train. It’s a miracle that she is alive.
