Madeline Higgins

My niece who is 20 years old developed a blood clot on her brain last June which when undetected until September. Madeline was being treated for severe migraines prior to the findings of her blood clot. Her blood clot is in her main vein in her brain. Because of this it caused her arteries in her brain to develop many arteiovenous fitulas. Her Neuro surgeon has never in 24 years seen as many as she has. Madeline since the beginning of June this year has undergone 3 brain surgeries to correct what is going on. She has many more to go. She runs the risk of a hemorrhage at anytime and being on blood thinners makes this very risky. Her surgeries consist of traveling from medford wi to Madison for a 5-7 hour procedure under anisthestic along with radiation. She is then kept for 2 days in Neuro ICU. Until released. She only gets about 2 weeks in between these procedures to recover from swelling on her brain before they perform the next one. Madeline is a CNA at her local hospital where she needed to drop down to casual during this time to get through all of this. Madeline has her monthly bills rolling in and I am asking for some help to make this easier for Her to make ends meet for the next 3 months while going back and fourth to Madison and being on casual hours at work.
