Maddy’s fundraiser for Higgy Bears
As many of you know, Madison was diagnosed with scoliosis earlier this year. She has a 34° curve in her spine and has to wear a brace 18+ hours a day. She has a brace specifically for the daytime and another for nighttime. It has been a struggle to say the least - not only physically but mentally as well. At one of her first appointments, we discovered Higgy Bears. Higgy Bears are special teddy bears specifically for kids with scoliosis. They wear matching mini scoliosis braces and have even have curves sewn into their backs. They are a friend where one did not exist. Higgy Bears truly make scoliosis more "bear-able" for kids with scoliosis! Maddy is raising money to donate Higgy Bears to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center so kids diagnosed with scoliosis can have a bear of their own! She hopes you can join her in this cause.
