Maddy's surgery

Today, January 27th, one of our neighbor's large dog attacked our baby girl, Maddy. We rushed her to emergency vet services where we spent over 8 hours trying to have her injuries assessed. We found out she has a spinal cord injury and will require surgery to correct it. The price we have been quoted for her surgery is at least $6,500 to $8,000, and unfortunately the other dog's owner cannot afford to pay for the vet costs. We have already spent hundreds of dollars for her current treatment, and do not know if we can afford the cost of her surgery. She will need to have the surgical procedure within the next 2 weeks. She has already lost function of both of her hind legs, and is in incredible pain, and needs full time care.
