Dear Friends & Family,
Many of you have asked what you can do for the Davis family. As you know the twins arrived 16 weeks early and face a 3 month medical journey before they can come home from the NICU. Cassandra is not receiving maternity leave pay. Adam is in the middle of his chiropractor doctorate and is attending school full time. He is limited to working with his personal trainer clients part time. The Davis’ also have 1.5 year old precious Emma at home. Adam and Cassandra’s plate is full with premature twins and a toddler! Cassandra will be recovering from surgery over the next few weeks.
Every year, Cassandra participates in the 100 mile bike ride to help raise funds for MS. This is a great chance to return her giving spirit and come together to show our love and support to help this new family through the curve ball life has thrown them by bringing their two new bundles of joy 16 weeks early.
No amount is too small. If all of us gave $20, we could quickly help meet immediate needs. One less worry would take a load off until the family has time to conceive a plan for future needs.
Cassandra tried to come to school today to give grades for progress alerts and was on her way when she received a call from the hospital that little Nolan has to undergo immediate surgery today. This is a testament to what kind of conscientious person and dedicated teacher she is; that’s my partner! She never wants to let anyone down. She takes the world on her shoulders. I know the family would be so grateful to know how many of you stop by asking how the twins are, how she’s doing, and what you can do to help. This is something we can do. Even $5 or $10 would help with Emma’s diapers, food, trips to and from the hospital and other basic needs.
