Madden and Richards - Vinyl Cafe

Donation protected
The upgrade to the Newcastle CBD, while long term will be positive, has had a devastating effect on one local business and its young  owners.  Neil Madden and Fiona Richards had no choice but to close their once thriving business, Vinyl Cafe in Perkins Street, Newcastle.  With the closure and diversion of surrounding streets caused by the upgrade, their mounting debts and downturn in trade, there was no choice.  This young family need help.  For many of us in the immediate location, our requests for morning coffee or hot chocolate were always met by the warm and friendly people at Vinyl, Neil, Fiona and Alecia who are being sadly missed.  This trip to Vinyl was a daily ritual.
