MAD PRIDE BEDPSUH TRADITION FUNDRAISER!!

We are the Campaign for Psych Abolition (CPA) and we are hosting this year's (and years to follow) Mad Pride London!

What is the bed push?

The bed push is an event that happens during Mad Pride to symbolize the forced institutionalisation of mad people, as well as our fight to get out. 

It brings into the open the psychiatric violence that so often happens behind closed doors. The bed push is meant to show us liberating a comrade from the psych ward by pushing them out, down the street, to freedom!

Help us fundraise for one!

We've spent the last *too long* trying to find a hospital bed for a Mad Pride 2022 Bed Push, to no avail... we don't want to hire one out and hospitals no longer get rid of them but send them to a contractor instead, so we've been struggling to get our hands on one. 

To buy a second-hand one, it costs around £300... can you help us raise enough to push a crazy through the streets of London and recreate a Mad Pride tradition? We know it's not on the top of anyone's list when it comes to donating, so please only help out if you're financially able to do so! If we can buy a bed, we'll be able to use it for Mad Pride 2022, 2023, 2024...
