Mad Max / Brad Pitt has a lot going on. Mostly all fixable...it will be a game of operation. This all started with routine blood work and his liver enzymes being scary high.
First and foremost, he has been diagnosed with Cushings Disease. That’s manageable.
Get ready for the rest (in order of importance): he needs to have his *gallbladder removed
*a small mass on his liver removed
*he needs to have bladder stones removed and he bladder flushed.
*He may have an issue with an adrenal gland and that may have to be removed as well.
This can all be done at once if his vitals stay strong during the surgery. A specialist surgeon will handle this since the gallbladder can be tricky.
His surgery is scheduled for August 29 (two weeks) and is considered somewhat high risk but this is the best thing for him. If his gallbladder bursts, it’s worse. They will get him all patched up and back modeling soon after!
Many have reached out privately and asked how he is doing (thank you...so nice!) and many have asked if they can help with $$. I do have pet insurance for all the boys however there is a maximum they will cover and this exceeds that and I pay 10% no matter the cost. All in for the surgery is $8k if the surgeon can get it all done and without complications.
