Dear Friends,

Long time Snowmass local and general contractor, Michael “Mac” McNamara, suffered a serious stroke on January 18. Mac is currently undergoing treatment at Denver Swedish Hospital and while he has had some setbacks, he is making progress and has started a rigorous regimen of acute physical, occupational and speech therapy. Mac’s devoted wife, Susie (Accent on Wildflowers owner), has not left his side throughout this trying process and is steadfastly committed to his full recovery. Their son Christopher, is holding down the fort here in Snowmass, making trips to Denver to help his mom and dad, as well as helping out at the flower shop along with the help of dear friends and family.

Mac and Susie have a long and arduous road ahead of them. While insurance is covering most of their medical expenses, there are many other costs associated with his care that are not covered. At this point, it’s unknown when Mac will be able to return to work, creating a further financial burden.

As friends and family of Mac and Susie, we have created a Go Fund Me page to help ease some of the financial pressure and allow them to focus 100% on his recovery. We're initiating this fundraiser to assist with his healthcare costs and hopefully ease some of the financial burdens he's facing. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in supporting our beloved friend on his journey to recovery.
