MACS 5th Grade Washington D.C Trip

I am very excited to tell you that we have the opportunity to take our 5th Grade students from Manchester Academic Charter School to Washington D.C. for an educational experience that will stick with them for a lifetime!
This trip gives many students the chance to see our Nation's Capital and many historical landmarks and buildings that surround it. It gives some students the opportunity to learn outside of Pittsburgh which may be the first and only time they are able to do so. It helps nurture new friendships and brings together a class of young kids during a very impactful period of growing up.
Your donation today will support our trip taking place on May 10th and May 11th. These activities help us to build solid relationships as we open up their hearts and expand the minds of the youth Manchester Academic Charter School.
The two-day experience will include admission to an exploration of the National Museum of
African-American History and Culture, The Lincoln Memorial, MLK Jr Memorial, and Jefferson Memorials, and The White House. The final afternoon of the trip will be spent with students unwinding at Six Flags America in Bowie,Maryland.
