What would you do if all of a sudden your quality of health was taken from you? The simplest things we take for granted each day become impossible. Were merely breathing becomes painful and a struggle.
Unfortunately this has become reality to the Mackie family. On Tuesday, October 9th Chris Mackie of Sylvan Lake was admitted to the Red Deer hospital for septic shock and a nearly fatal blood infection. He was transferred to the ICU on Friday where life preserving measure were taken. Recovery will be slow and difficult not only for Chris but his wife and 5 children.
Any help you can give the family will be greatly appreciated! Chris will need his family by his side and with only a portion of their income they will need help financially.
