RAISING FUNDS FOR THE AUSTRALIAN HEROES.

On Saturday 18th January, myself and my partner Lee Renshaw owner of F45 Training Mackay City located in Mackay, QLD will be hosting a full day of #FitnessForFires events to raise funds for the Australian firefighter heroes who lost theirs lives and homes in the ongoing Australian bushfire crisis. As the catastrophic bushfires continue to rage with no end in sight, ongoing donations and support is crucial!

How F45 Mackay will be supporting our country during the bushfire crisis:

>> Saturday Morning - 'HEROES HOLLYWOOD' | 3 x sessions.

>> Saturday Afternoon - F45 MC vs Magpies FC Charity Football Match | 1pm Kick-off at Magpies Sporting Club.

>> #KoalaChallenge - Anyone who completes the Koala Challenge, share their video and tags F45 Mackay, we will donate $5.

Please head to our social media pages; Facebook & Instagram for more information regarding local fundraising events. If you are unable to attend our fundraiser events but would still like to get behind us, then please donate via our GoFundMe Page.

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES.
All funds raised will be split equally amongst the below four Australian heroes and donated to their families via NSW RFS dedicated bank accounts.

Samuel McPaul, 28, a volunteer firefighter, was killed on 30 December 2019 when the truck he was in rolled over from a massive fire tornado on River Road, outside of Albury. He leaves behind a loving wife, Megan, who is pregnant with their first child, due in May.

Andrew O'Dwyer, 36, a volunteer firefighter, was killed alongside Geoffrey Keaton on 19 December 2019 when their fire truck rolled while battling the large Green Wattle Creek blaze near the town of Buxton. He leaves behind a loving wife, and his 19 month old daughter.

Geoffrey Keaton, 32, a volunteer firefighter, was killed alongside Andrew O'Dwyer on 19 December 2019 when their fire truck rolled while battling the large Green Wattle Creek blaze near the town of Buxton. He leaves behind a loving wife, and his 19 month old son.

The Herring Family. Firefighter Scott Herring has spent the last few months fighting fires to help save other people’s homes. Sadly, he was fighting the fires in Batemans Bay when he found out that his own home was under threat. He made it back to the property at 2am after fighting fires all day and battled the blaze on his own for six hours. Unfortunately, the Herring Family lost everything to the bushfires.

Thank you for your support, it means a lot. Our F45 Family helping their families!
