Mack Moriarty's Recovery Program

Mack Moriarty is the two year old son of Nick and Amber Moriarty. Mack is always looking for a laugh and loves to wrestle, be tickled, and play with cars. Mack has recently been diagnosed with cancer, which was discovered in his brain and in his spinal column. There was a tumor on his brain the size of an egg. He had brain surgery this past weekend, the last weekend in February 2017. They removed most of the tumor but could not get it all because it was attached to the brain stem. It was malignant. Pathology is still not definitive but has been narrowed down to one of two types and they are starting chemotherapy immediately due to concern over the large amount of cancer around his spine. The family is devastated, as you would expect, and is hanging on through the power of their faith in God and the love and support from their friends, their families and their church family, past and present. We are starting this journal to give people a place to get updates and to contribute to their financial needs, which will be considerable and which many have asked for the opportunity to help with.
