Macey's Miracle

Macey is a 4 year old Lab mix who is energetic, friendly, and the most loving dog around. She's very social and is always riding along on an adventure with her mom and family.
About a month ago Macey went to the vet to get her lymph nodes examined since they were enlarged. After a week of antibiotics, the vet recommended taking a sample since they were still swollen. After waiting and praying, we were given the news that she has Lymphoma. Totally heartbreaking.
Fast forward, Macey has now been referred to Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. On August 10, Macey had her first appointment with an oncologist who started her chemotherapy treatment. In hopes that her 25 weeks of treatment is successful, Macey can live a longer and happier life. There is a fighting chance that she can live several years since she is so young and otherwise healthy.
ONE DAY after her first treatment and the miracle is already happening!
Macey's lymph nodes....I can hardly locate them! In just one treatment she is responding well and still her wild and energetic self (also pretty cuddly).
I know that not everyone is an animal lover and to some they may say that this is just a dog. To our family, Macey is more than just a dog. For me, Macey is my world. I'm asking for help with Macey because this treatment can be quite expensive (approximately $4,000).
If you know and love Macey, please consider helping in any way you can. If you're an animal lover I'm sure you can relate to how important it is to do all you can to help your fur-children.
Even if you cannot help monetarily, we would greatly appreciate prayers and positive thoughts as they go a long way!
