Hello everyone! As many of you are aware, Mable’s Table has closed to the public for in person dining until further notice per the state of Illinois order. We are hoping to be back and serving all of our wonderful patrons & neighbors that have supported us for so many years, but there is a high chance the mandatory shutdown could go on for weeks or months. We are doing everything in our power to assist our staff that have helped Mable’s Table become what it is today, but sadly we are expecting unemployment for many weeks to come. We are running on a skeleton crew to hopefully get some carry outs & delivery orders processed but we understand completely what the world is going through right now.
Our team members here at Mable’s are clinging onto to the hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that this will end sooner than later bringing us all closer together as a human race. Our 30 families that we employ here are proud hard workers and staples in our community. My concern for everyone’s health is our main priority but their ability to provide for their families has me heartbroken. We are offering as much assistance from Mable’s backup inventories and surplus of canned goods, sanitary products and cleaning supplies but that can only go so far.
So I humbly ask for your assistance to help me provide them with some hope of being able to keep a roof over their head, put clothes on their families back, and help with groceries. Thank you for all your help, support, kind gestures of faith.
Please Note: This GoFund me is solely set up for our entire team (Servers, Bartenders, Busboys, and dishwashers) who have made the last 3 years of us being open possible. 100% of all donations will go directly to our most affected staff members during these very hard and unsure times. This GoFundMe has been organized by Anthony Reyes (Chef/proprietor) and Scott Foster (Assistant General Manager). We assure all our supporters that all donations will be distributed fairly and evenly amongst our team.
