Mabel Ann Rouleau, 7, died Sunday April 9, 2017, in Essentia Health, St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born in Duluth on Aug. 30, 2009, to Tyson and Corrina Rouleau. Mabel was in the 2nd Grade at Myers-Wilkins Elementary. Mabel was an aspiring artist, she enjoyed drawing, playing with Legos, hunting agates, she loved flowers and animals. Mabel loved chocolate-milk chocolate!
Mabel is survived by her parents, Corrina and Tyson Rouleau, Maternal; grandmother, Cathy (Phil Bakken) Rouleau; paternal grandparents, Patricia (Phil) Wilson and Richard (Sharon) Strickler; maternal great-grandmother, Winnie Sundberg; paternal, great-grandmother Jane Strickler; aunts, Stacy (Ryan) Pontinen and Crystal (Regan) Scuffy; uncle, Bryce Strickler; cousins, Rory and Annika and her many friends at Myers-Wilkins Elementary.
Mabel was preceded in death by a sister, Lily and maternal grandfather, Steven Rouleau.
Fund are being raised to help the family with funeral expenses.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday April 14, 2017, in Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home and will continue on Saturday April 15, 2017 from 10 until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home; 3208 West 3rd Street; Duluth, MN 55805. Burial will be on Monday, April 17, at the Calvary Cemetery, Rice Lake Township. In celebration of Mabel’s life, please wear your favorite rainbow colors — and don’t forget those glass slippers.
