UPDATE 12/6/18: Due to the overwhelming support from teachers and parents of The Goddard School-Moorestown, we met our new goal of $800 in TWO DAYS! Yay!!! We are now upping the goal to $1,000.00! We have made the first withdrawal of funds and we are preparing to send out gift cards very soon! We will have updates of our progress when we send them out. Thank you so much!
UPDATE 12/3/18: We have reached our initial goal of $500, so we changed the goal to $800! Again, we are collecting donations up until December 20, 2018! THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!
As most of you know, I grew up in Chico, CA, which is just outside Paradise and the other areas affected by the Camp Fire in Butte County, California. Many of the survivors that are displaced are being housed in Chico at various pop-up shelters.
I will be collecting donations on this GoFundMe from now until December 20, 2018. Our friends in Chico have told us that the most helpful/useful things that we can donate are Visa gift cards, gasoline gift cards, and grocery store gift cards. All the funds raised here will be used to purchase gifts cards to be handed out to the displaced families of the Camp Fire tragedy before the holiday season. There are many friends and family we know in this area without homes, and they are just trying to make it day by day.
