Dear friends,
Today my Brazilian helper just came back from Brazil where she has been visiting her son who suffered an accident. She showed me this picture, it broke my heart, her resilience broke my heart...Her boy has lost a leg and I will do it short, she needs around £7000 for him to get a prosthesis. Considering my income I could give her £1000 but I then thought if I find 100 people around to give £60, this 20 years old boy will have a new leg and might think that good things can also happen in life. I don't want to sell you the story of a smart hard-worker boy, if I understood well he was into drugs... But his girl-friend stayed around and is still taking care of him despite the new handicap And it's consequences, that surely means he is not a bad boy!!!!
