<div>My name is *Mahmoud Al-Yazji*, a photojournalist and humanitarian from northern Gaza. Despite two years of war, destruction, and forced displacement, I chose to stay and document the truth — and to help my people on the ground.
</div>

<div>My home has been completely destroyed. Several members of my family have been detained, including my mother and sisters. My uncle and cousin were killed. I have been displaced from multiple areas, and I currently live in a tent or a bombed-out building — with no stable shelter, no income, and barely any access to food or safety.

<div>Still, I haven’t stopped. I continue to carry my camera, to serve my people, and to be their voice in the darkness.
