Sweet baby Daniel was born on Wednesday February 11, 2015. He was 8 lb 4oz and 20in long. He was born to the proud parents Kruiz and Ashley, and also greeted by proud big sister Madison.
Immediately after birth he was taken to the NICU where the medical staff connected him to multiple devices to try to gain stability in his vitals.
He has a very rare congenital heart desease which causes an enlarged heart, restricted blood flow through the pulmonary valve, and tricuspid valve that is leaking. He is currently at a children's hospital on the pediatric cardiology floor under the care of great doctors. Although he is in the best hands possible, his parents are preparing for the long months that lay ahead of them. Baby Daniel has already had a heart cathiterization performed at only 2 days old and faces the possibility of open heart surgery before his first month of life is over.
Mom and Dad have settled in with Baby Daniel for the difficult long haul to be by their son's side, facing a potential 2-3 month stay at the hospital with him. As we all can only imagine the struggles that go with having this great and heavy burden, they also currently are without a source of income, and the care of a small child to add to this hectic chapter of their lives. They would greatly appreciate any prayers and donations that you are willing to contribute on behalf of this precious baby.
