Help young family after house fire

On Tuesday the 26th November in a quiet close in Bentley Park this family experienced something we all fear, a house fire. Luckily this fire was contained to the garage of the house but this was all due to the efforts of a young father fighting to protect his family. Jet found the fire in full force when he entered his garage Tuesday night after hearing strange popping noise’s only to find his garage was partially engulfed in flames. As he entered the garage a can of ethanol exploded to his right engulfing him in a large fireball and firing shrapnel of plastics and metal into him. He managed to still get the garage door open where a neighbour eventually came to his aid with a fire extinguisher and helped put out the fire. However before the neighbour got their jet continued to battle the flames to try and protect the house, and his family’s only means of transport their small family car. Jet sustained some serious burn’s to his entire right side from the side of his face all the way down to his right foot. Himself and his partner have 2 young beautiful boys they raise together but with jet off work indefinitely with potential for a lengthy rehab it will be hard for him to keep supporting his family especially with Christmas just around the corner. Some of you may recognize Jet back when win news interviewed him after his family home was broken into earlier this year,  he then founded  the new group,  Edmonton & Bentley park community watch group and has helped to make our suburb a little safer just by bringing us all together fighting for the same outcome, a safer community with less crime. It’s time for our tight knit community to come together to support Jet in his recovery by even the smallest of donations so that he can focus on his recovery and not worry about keeping a roof above his family’s head whilst unable to work.
