Help rebuild from Hurricane Harvey

The call for help went out as soon as it was realized that water was going to continue to claim more and more of the house. The Bonds - Heather, David and  their children, Alex (age 3) and Madelyn (age1) are safe, but now that the flood waters are receding , the material losses of this horrible disaster are evident. Thankfully my family is safe and healthy but are terribly saddened by the loss of life and destruction in their community.  Heather and the children are in Pennsylvania because their home is uninhabitable.  With your help, my daughter and grandchildren can return to Texas and be reunited  with my son in law, but not until the entire first floor of their home has been gutted and rebuilt. My 3 year old grandson asks often for his Daddy, misses sleeping in his own bed and would just like to go home.

Like the other 85% of folks living in Houston, they did not have flood insurance when Hurricane Harvey hit last week because they did not live in a flood zone.  As they begin tearing apart their flood damaged home in an effort to rebuild , they realize the huge expense they are facing - vehicles,  building supplies, new floors,  new cabinets, appliances,  furniture, books/toys for the children.......the list is exhaustive! 

Numerous friends and family have reached out asking what can be done to help support them as they rebuild their lives and their home - hence this go fund me page. Any assistance is so greatly appreciated no matter how small. We also ask for continued prayers for the Bond Family, as well as for Houston!
